As discussed last year, CKNA class structure is in a transition phase with three goals in mind. Better progression as drivers move up in category, getting the Canadian and American class structures more aligned, maintain the high level of competition, and most importantly… SAFETY!

For 2023, we have restructured some of our youth classes in the USA to meet these goals. We have added an all new Cadet class for drivers coming out of Kid Kart, and also adjusted the Sportsman class to allow for slightly older drivers that either are not ready for the additional speed of Junior or are not physically large enough to make the transition.

Canada will be making the transition to the tire that CKNA helped to develop, the Vega VAH Red tire. This change along with the corresponding updates in legal wheel and track widths means that the Canadian and USA rules are identical for all the adult classes. This includes the Legends class, which will be an addition to the Canadian lineup for 2023.
