And while there are no major changes, we do highly recommend that you download the latest version from our RULES PAGE and familiarize yourself with them. Below you will find a list of the most noteworthy changes. Some are items that we had individually listed in event supplemental rules all last season, and others are items we wanted to address moving forward. CKNA East Schedule Release

Well after all the fun getting the North Division’s schedule hammered out, we’re very happy to say that the East schedule is done and confirmed! We held off on releasing it just in case we had to make drastic changes in our other divisions, but thankfully we have gotten everything lined up with no conflicts with any of our other events! We really wanted to change things up a bit in the East for 2025. We are firm believers in rotating tracks through our schedule to keep things fresh as well as to support more facilities in the region. East this year will be featuring two new tracks to CKNA. One historic track that is under new ownership and making

2025 North Schedule Update

We want to thank everybody for their patience while we have been sorting out the schedules this season. While we had been on track to announce the majority of our dates back in November, a handful of changes and conflicts sent us back to the drawing board. We are pleased to present your Official 2025 Cup Karts North Divisional Schedule: Round 1 – Whiteland, IN May 2nd – 4th Our season opener will kick off at Whiteland Raceway Park for our 2025 North Division season. WRP is one of the best tracks

Provisional Amendment to Kid Kart Rules

#219 Chain for Kid Karts Since it’s inception, Kid Karts have been required to run #35 size chain with a specified 17 tooth driver and a 57 tooth gear. Eliminating the gearing from the equation allows the parents and drivers to focus on the basics of driving and we believe it is the best thing for drivers so early in their racing careers. A few weeks ago, it was brought to our attention that there are some newer chassis on the market that the 57T #35 rear sprocket will not clear the crossbar on the chassis. Unfortunately, the way this was discovered was that families getting into the sport had bought them not knowing of the fitment issue. As the

East Division Finale: OVRP

The third and last event for the East series is next weekend, at Tim Hannen’s Oakland Valley Raceway Park (OVRP). Here’s a quick recap of the East series’ 2024 season so far. The first stop at United Karting was CKNA’s first race on a parking lot racetrack, located at the Baltimore Washington International Airport.  This was an exciting challenge for karters who had never raced on a parking lot circuit before. On top of that, it rained on both race days elevating the level of skill needed to handle this new venue. The next race was at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) where the competitors got “Liberated”.  As it always does, NJMP’s Liberator track provided excellent racing and close competition.

CKNA Summer Nationals at PITT Race!

CKNA continues to provide a place for drivers to compete on a national level by adding the Summer National being held this weekend,  June 21st – 23rd at Pitt Race International (PRI), in Wampum, Pa. This race is the forerunner to the Grand Nationals at New Castle Motorsport Park (NCMP) scheduled for Oct 10th – 13th. The Wilson circuit kart track at Pitt Race will challenge a driver’s skill and endurance. Last year, CKNA held a divisional at Pitt featuring over 180 entries.  Some of the top drivers from all the CKNA divisions were there.  Drivers like Todd Baron, Wyatt Fink, Owen Lloyd, Emil Osman, Elmer Edmonson, Spencer Hite, Sean Meier, Caleb Smith, Colton McQuade and Eli Yanko (all the

The 2024 Cup Karts season is well underway! Our South Division just completed it’s 3rd round at Atlanta Motorsports Park, North starts in just a few days at the iconic G&J Kartway, and the Canadian and East Divisions are just weeks away from starting their seasons. With our first race for the East Division coming up in just a few short weeks, our vey own Tony “The Toe” Cirillo made an excellent write up regarding the upcoming East Division Season: To all of the Karters that raced the Northeast (NE) Divisional series in 2023, thank you for making it a big success in its first year.  Looking forward towards the 2024 East series as we are now calling it, the

SpringNats Schedule

Here we go again! We are pleased to announce that the supplemental rules and detailed schedules for the 2024 Spring Nationals presented by ORP are now available. Please head over to the Spring Nationals info page to access the files. As previously announced, the over 500 entries registered for the race required us to adapt our typical schedule for this event. Thankfully, we are confident we have created this schedule in a way that did not reduce the number of laps each competitor would get AND we will still conclude all racing activities by 3pm on Sunday. We wanted to also take a minute to thank all the sponsors that are making not only the Spring Nationals great, but the

SpringNats Class Cap Updates

The speed at which the 2024 Spring Nationals hit our original class caps was nothing short of astonishing. In the history of CKNA, we have never had such a response to a race. Unfortunately, that means that many racers that wanted to race the event we’re left out. As of this morning, we have 68 racers sitting on waiting lists! But thanks to the speed at which you all got your registrations in, we had time to adjust… and we have in a BIG WAY! With a lot of help from local contacts and Charlotte Motor Speedway, we have a solution that allows us to dramatically increasing the caps for most classes. For the first time ever, we will be

Spring Nationals are ramping up FAST!

We’re officially 30 days out from the CKNA Spring Nationals, and it is already looking to be another BIG year at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This is the fastest we have ever reached the 200 entry mark for any race, including any of the Grand Nationals! Unfortunately, this means that we are already making the decision to cap entries in all classes. Trust me, we REALLY don’t want to. But one of the main goals at any CKNA event is to get racers the most track time possible. The only way to squeeze any more in would be to move this event to a Friday Qualifying format, and it wouldn’t be fair to anybody to make that change so close to
