GN5 Updates:

We're just days out from the most anticipated Grand Nationals in history.

There’s still time to register!!! If you want to join karting’s biggest event of the year, make sure to click the REGISTER NOW button on top of the page!

Online registration closes TOMORROW, September 28th. Walkup registrations are welcome!

Event Timeline:

With just 2 days left to register online, we have reached over 375 entries! And as we all know, there are more than a handful of people that choose to wait until the literal last minute to get registered, so we are sure that number will still increase. It’s been amazing to see the registrations in our youth classes. All 3 have exceeded our expectations, with the Juniors being the 2nd largest class at this point!

What this means is that there is a potential to have more classes than we anticipated running a split heats format. It goes without saying that some of these classes are too big to run all at once! We have contingencies in place to handle it, but until we get a firmer grasp on the true class sizes, we can not publish a detailed timeline for the event.  We will be following the same class order from we have used at the majority of our events:

  • Sportsman
  • Legends
  • Sr. Heavy
  • Sr. Light
  • Kid Kart
  • Junior
  • Masters
  • Sr. Medium

Thursdays practice day will ran by NCMP and scheduled by class. We will be posting that schedule on the GN5 info page shortly.

Prizes:

Thanks the the generosity of all our sponsors and partners for 2021 as well as the great turnouts at our divisional races; this years spread of prizes and swag has set a record of it’s own. To date, we have over $60,000 of stuff that will be given away this weekend!

Friday night  around 7pm. we will hold our Divisional Awards Ceremony for the North and South divisions. If you placed in the top 3 in either division, please plan on being there to collect your hard earned awards.

Then on Saturday, we have A TON of door prizes to hand out at the drivers meeting. Our hope is to get through all of them, but if time runs short, we’ll do additional drawings throughout the weekend and announce those winners on Facebook!

Finally on Sunday, we will hold our Grand Nationals Award Ceremony at the conclusion of all races. The Grand Nationals podiums the top 5 in all classes, and everybody on the podium will walk away with a prize as well as their trophy.

CupKarts LIVE!:

As we announced the other day, we’ve been fortunate enough to partner with Odenthal Racing to produce this years edition of our Grand Nationals Live stream on CupKarts LIVE!

This means that we will have 2 days of broadcasting this year to make sure that all your fans can watch you progress through the heat races and in the finals on Sunday.

We will publish the links you can use to watch the racing with live race calls from Dave Mac and Randy Kugler on Friday.
