Our first event ever at East Lansing (Schedule and Supps)

We are very excited about the upcoming weekend at the East Lansing Kart Track! East Lansing is an “old school” four cycle track, in that it is tight and technical. The racers we have spoken to that have raced there in the past said it was one of the best four cycle tracks they had ever raced at! It was a staple of national four cycle racing for many years, and we are excited to bring the series to Michigan to continue that tradition. As this is a new track for our series, many of the racers and our staff will be unfamiliar with the facility. Please feel to ask any questions you may have when you arrive or throughout […]
Calling all Home Track Hero’s

After doing this for 5 years, it seems like we have the same discussion with our host tracks each season… “How do we get more of the locals to come out and race?” Back in the good ole’ days, when the traveling series came to town, locals came out on droves to defend their home turf and try their skills against the big boys. There’s a plenty of reasons why the locals don’t come out more often, but the one we hear the most is the added costs for entry fees and tires because it’s not what they use for their clubs. Well, we’ve solved it… Introducing the Home Track Hero Callout! To be eligible, drivers can not have competed […]
Registration for our first Night Race ever is now open

Some of the coolest races in NASCAR and Formula 1 are the Night Races they have sprinkled throughout each seasons schedule. The added element of racing under the lights seems to change the feel of each track, and always provides for close racing. When we approached the owners of 61 Kartway about hosting our first Night Race, they jumped at the opportunity. Their track has excellent lighting, which provides the thrill of racing under the stars while still being safe. If you look over the schedule for this event (DOWNLOAD SCHEDULE HERE), you’ll see that we are also having a late practice on Friday. This will allow all of our racing families to leave home a little bit later, and […]
Race Supps and Schedule for the Boon and Sons Central Division Round 2
All the details and Supplemental rules for the 2nd round of the Boon and Sons Central Division are now available: Central Round 2 Supps/Schedule Download Due to the tracks agreement with the local municipality, we will be pushing our normal Sunday start time back to 9:30am. No engines will be allowed to run before that time. Please also note that we have permanently adopted the 2 position penalty rule for pushing while approaching the green flag on starts. This as well as clarification on some tech procedures was added to the rule book last week. See you all in Springfield!

Tech Update 5/1 (CIK Seat addendum)

It has been brought to our attention that our CIK Seat guidelines have unintentionally rendered seats designed in the NEK / JECKO style illegal for use in the CIK Class. Our research shows that these seats ARE LEGAL for use in CIK competition, and therefor will be legal for our CIK Class as well. We will be revamping our seat rule to accommodate this in the near future. This however will not be possible to have completed before our opening race. Therefor; seats in the NEK / JECKO style will not have to meet the 28″ max overall measurement, so long as they are 100% unmodified other than drilling for mounts, weights or repairs. The angle requirement will remain […]
Schedule and Supplemental Rules for our opener at CHMS are now available!
The Supplemental rules, including information on fuel and the weekends schedule are now available. Included in this document are some rules and clarifications specific to the Senior CIK Class. As this is a new class to the series, there were many competitors who reached out with questions regarding wheel sizes and seat measurements. To ensure everybody has the same information on what the requirements are and how they will be checked, we have added the information to the supps. to ensure that everybody receives the same information. We have also updated the CKNA rulebook with all the same information. v18.2 of the rules have been published to include all these clarifications. No other notable changes were made. To download the […]
Briggs returns as a sponsor with big savings for our younger racers!

We have had a long and valued partnership with Briggs and Stratton. Their 206 engine is the keystone to the series we have been building for the last five seasons. The cost effective, level playing field the 206 provides has helped to revitalize karting and make a series like ours successful. We are pleased to announce that Briggs has agreed to return as our Performance Sponsor for 2018, and they are bringing A LOT to the table! To start with, we will be giving away pressure washers at 4 of our divisional events throughout the year, to be randomly drawn for at the drivers meeting! They will also be awarding a generator to each winner at the Grand Nationals at […]
A long awaited update for 2018:
It’s been a long winter, and we know everybody is chomping at the bit to go racing. We’re terribly sorry that 2018 updates have been slow to come out, but the time has come to step on the gas and get 2018 off and running! First off, some regrettable news. The scheduling hiccup we had with the Florida Division’s first round was an unforeseen issue. We would like to thank the other tracks scheduled to host the series, who have gone above and beyond with offers to step up with additional dates and support trying to make the series happen. With a very heavy heart, we have decided to hold off on launching our Florida Division. We know this comes […]
