Its Time!
With Grand Nationals 7 about six weeks away… we know you are all chomping at the bit to get registered and have all the information about the race. Your wait is almost over!
We have relaunched the Grand Nationals page on the website, and updated the information for 2023. This includes the class structure, intended event format and pricing.
We are in the final testing of the registration system, and will officially open registration by Tuesday the 22nd. When registering, please make sure to pick the size t-shirt you would like!
Although fees for Grands did go up a little bit this year, we will be offering an Early Bird discount to anybody that registered for a CKNA event in 2023. The link for that discount will be emailed to the address you created your Race Select account with. We’d appreciate you registering ASAP for planning purposes. But PLEASE make sure to get registered before Sept. 17th to avoid late fees!
Also, as a reminder: its an unofficial tradition to have some rain throughout Grand Nationals weekend. If you already own rain tires and want to use them at Grands, you are welcome to. If you do not already have rain tires you need to buy them through registration. Yes, we will have a limited number of sets for sale at the track for those that don’t heed this warning. But due to the logistics involved in bringing extra tires, we will be charging more for the rain tires at the track this year.
Rain tires will need to be scanned in prior to Friday’s qualifying sessions, and competitors are only permitted one set of rain tires for the entire weekend.
We are running a little behind on finalizing all the artwork for Grands this year, so stay tuned to FB and our website for more updates… They will be coming every few days leading up to the event!
